- 1-½ pounds ground beef
- ½ onion, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten before adding
- ¾ cup uncooked oats
- 1- 8 ounce can of tomato sauce

- Topping:
- After a ½ hour in the oven
- mix 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1tbsp. mustard
- 2tbsp. brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350°F/ 180°C . Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well, pat mixture into a rounded shape and bake in loaf pan for 60 minutes or until well done. In a mixing bowl, stir in mustard, brown sugar and ketchup . Spoon mixture over meatloaf about 30 minutes into bake time. Once done remove from oven and pour off any excess grease.
