- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups oats, powdered in a blender
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups flour
- 4 ounces chocolate, melted
- 12 ounces chocolate chips
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups nuts, chopped

Cream together butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl mix powdered oats, flour, salt and baking powder. Slowly combine creamed and dry ingredients. Stir in melted chocolate, chocolate chips and chopped nuts. Place golf ball sized chucks of dough on a ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 350°F/180°C for 8 to 10 minutes.
